The radiologist will interpret pediatric body and neuro imaging studies while collaborating with various clinical specialties to provide diagnostic expertise. Additionally, the role involves participating in the training of residents and fellows and engaging in research initiatives to advance pediatric imaging.
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Applicants must also be eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and Delaware, with CAQ certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology preferred.

About the Job The CHOP Department of Radiology is recruiting a full-time radiologist (body imaging, or neuroradiology) CHOP Radiology is internationally recognized for its excellence in pediatric imaging, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Position Highlights Interpret pediatric body and neuro imaging studies across modalities Collaborate and consult vary clinical specialties Provide advice regarding appropriate imaging and diagnostic interventions Participate in training of residents and fellows. Engage in research initiatives to advance pediatric imaging. Educational and Professional Development Activities (if indicated) Participates in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate educational offerings. Participates in the professional development of others. May act as a preceptor and mentor to support the development of nurses, advanced practice providers, students, and other health care providers. Licenses and Certifications Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. CAQ certified or eligible in Pediatric Radiology and/or applicable subspecialty. Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Education M.D. or D.O degree
Working knowledge of applicable hospital policies, practices and protocols as well as applicable regulations and guidelines. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. (Required proficiency) Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, decision-making. (Required proficiency) Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public. (Required proficiency) Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic).
