The Respiratory Technician provides essential respiratory therapy services, including bronchial hygiene, ventilator monitoring, and pulmonary assessments. They also assist in emergency services and perform various cardiopulmonary procedures under the direction of a Respiratory Therapist.
Candidates must hold a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited school and possess a current state license. One to two years of experience in an acute care setting and CPR certification are required, with ACLS certification preferred.
