Behavioral Health Therapist II - Evenings, Walk-In Clinic

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring Behavioral Health Therapists for our South Satellite location! Title and Rate of Pay will be based on Education and Experience Make a lasting impact in a child's life - one session at a time. The Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic at UPMC Children's Hospital provides compassionate, same-day care for youth up to age 18 experiencing non-urgent behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities

Deliver targeted behavioral health assessment Implement one-time therapeutic interventions Coordinate with existing care teams and community resources Provide short term bridge therapy to appropriate patients and families

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required. Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Act 31 / 33 / 34 / 73
