The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and the nursing process. They are responsible for clinical documentation, delegating tasks to other staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Candidates must hold an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing and possess an active Vermont or compact state RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia Telemetry, with six months of prior nursing experience preferred.
Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, within the framework of the Department of Nursing, and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care. Utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and assumes responsibilities for nursing care and documentation to include delegation of work to other levels of employees. Ensure practice meets compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care. Per Diem opportunities available on all shifts!
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers De-escalation Training Basic Dysrhythmia Telemetry certification or equivalent, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), De-escalation training (Required completion at first course offering after hire). Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas. Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan. Effective people skills and communication. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products. Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery. Progressive Care Certification (preferred) Medical Surgical Certification (preferred)
The base rate for this position is $35.13 - $57.64 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
