The Pharmacy Technician performs sterile compounding of infusion medications within a cleanroom environment to ensure safe and accurate patient care. They are also responsible for maintaining inventory, documenting regulatory requirements, and assisting with the training of staff and students.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the PTCB or NHA. Additionally, an active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like standing and reaching for prolonged periods.
