The Physician Assistant will collaborate with oral surgeons to provide high-quality surgical and clinical care, including patient assessments and procedure assistance. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, administering anesthesia, and managing pre- and post-operative patient care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold current state licensure along with NCCPA certification. Experience in oral surgery or surgical specialties is preferred, as are BLS and ACLS certifications.
The Oral Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) works collaboratively with the oral surgeon to provide high-quality surgical and clinical care. This role includes patient evaluation, assisting in surgical procedures, and managing pre- and post-operative care.
