Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with patient and family-centered care principles. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Requires a diploma, associate degree, or bachelor degree in nursing along with active registered nurse licensure. Previous experience in mother and baby or labor and delivery units is required.
Full-time Night Shift: 1900-0700 shifts
Every other holiday
2 full weekends in a 6-week schedule
16-20 hours of on call hours in a 6-week schedule

Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
