The RN coordinates care and performs continuous assessments to meet the physical, medical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of hospice patients. They work as part of an interdisciplinary team to implement the patient's plan of care.
The candidate must be a Registered Nurse capable of providing end-of-life care in a professional and collaborative manner. They are expected to be an expert in their field and committed to the hospice mission.
Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located. A minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years. Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATE EOE/AA M/F/D/V
