Performs a broad range of laboratory procedures using established protocols in areas such as microbiology, chemistry, and hematology. Exercises independent judgment to ensure accurate testing and reporting within the laboratory environment.
Requires an Associate or Bachelor degree in medical laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or a related science with clinical training. Candidates must be registered by a nationally recognized certification agency or be registry eligible.
Will be working in Micro MLT/MT Job Summary Performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require moderate to broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility. Medical Laboratory Technicians or Medical Laboratory Scientists perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or may be specialized in areas of blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology and laboratory send out reference testing
