The Physical Therapist Assistant will implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist to provide patient-centered care. Responsibilities include performing therapeutic exercises, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. A current, valid PTA license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required.
Implement and carry out physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities as outlined in the plan of care Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor patient responses to treatment and report any changes to the supervising therapist promptly Provide timely and accurate documentation per facility and departmental requirements Coordinate treatment goals with other members of the rehabilitation and care teams Accurately prepare and submit patient charges to ensure appropriate billing Support department operations, quality initiatives, and program development Continue professional and clinical development through ongoing education and training Requirements and Qualifications: Associate degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current PTA license in good standing with all applicable regulatory agencies and licensing boards Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to patient confidentiality Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional working relationships Adherence to company policies, including compliance, harassment prevention, and Code of Conduct Completion of mandatory compliance and ethics training Why Join Trellis: Competitive pay: $38.00–$41.00 per hour, DOE Supportive leadership and collaborative rehabilitation team Beautiful facility and positive working environment Opportunities for professional growth and development If you are a dedicated PTA looking to make a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing environment, we encourage you to apply today.
