The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner evaluates and manages patients for wound care across various healthcare facilities under physician supervision. They are responsible for creating medical plans, prescribing medications, and educating facility staff on wound care standards.
Candidates must hold a valid Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License and possess or be working toward Wound Care Board Certification. A BLS certification and a DEA license are also required for this role.

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner functions under the clinical supervision of licensed physicians, providing high quality wound care to patients within Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, and Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital settings in our Madison service area.
Onsite daily.
