Provide goal-directed treatment and individualized care planning to promote patient independence in mobility and functional performance. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain accurate patient records under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requires an Associate's degree or vocational training and a current PTA license or eligibility in the State of Oklahoma. Must obtain AHA BLS-HCP certification within 30 days of hire.
The Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing direct patient care and individualized care planning/implementation. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned. Outpatient Physical Therapist is under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (pursuant to the laws of the state).
