The Blood Donor Technician performs donor registration, screenings, and blood collection procedures while adhering to AABB and FDA regulatory standards. They are also responsible for quality control of equipment, maintaining supply inventory, and transporting blood products to the blood bank.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong phlebotomy skills. Professional certifications such as DPT(ASCP) or National Phlebotomy Certification are preferred.
