MRI Technologist-Crestwood Medical Center-FT-2nd shift

• Overview Performs routine scanning procedures for the MRI unit.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Ensures a high quality of images produced.
• Responsible for availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area.
• May be cross-trained in other specialties.
• The technologist may be part of the on call pool. **The MRI Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations

Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science. Must obtain advanced registry within one year from date of hire.

Experience

• 2 year’s experience in
• MRI required
• Licenses/Certificates: Must be ARRT registered. BCLS required
