The Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care for adult and neonatal patients, including mechanical ventilation and airway management. They also perform diagnostic testing such as ECG, EEG, and pulmonary function tests while maintaining strict safety standards.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory therapy program and hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Georgia. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist at Northside Hospital independently provides various respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Composite Medical Boad. The Northside Hospital Registered Respiratory Therapist manages care for an assigned group of patients including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and adult or neonatal intensive care area with completed competency in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
6:45PM - 7:15AM Weekend Requirements:
