LPNs provide direct patient care to assigned groups in accordance with hospital policies. They collaborate with Registered Nurses to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited practical nursing school and hold a current Georgia LPN license. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
