Provide individualized care to patients before and after surgery, including preparing supplies, charting medical history, and administering medications. Monitor vital signs and anesthesia emergence while ensuring a safe environment in accordance with HIPAA and OAM policies.
Requires a Registered Nurse license, a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience in surgery prep/PACU and ACLS/PALS certifications.

As a Surgical Prep and Recovery Registered Nurse at our Surgery Center, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients both before and after surgery. You will assist in all parts of the pre and postoperative periods by preparing supplies for each patient, charting their medical history, administering medications, monitoring vitals, etc. while maintaining a safe and private environment that is in accordance with HIPAA and OAM policies. It will be imperative that you have a kind demeanor and can work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
