The Pelvic Health Physical Therapist is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing treatment programs for patients of various age groups. This role includes collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team and supervising support staff.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and a current New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Additionally, 2 years of experience in the specialty area and current BLS Certification are required.
To plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in a variety of age groups according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To furnish pelvic health physical therapy in accordance with the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team. To supervise work of support staff. Education Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited School of Physical Therapy. Current and valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification. Eligible to sit for certification exam in one of the following three certification tracts 1) Herman & Wallace, 2) CAPP Pelvic, 3) CAPP OB, with plans to certify within 2 years. Experience 2 years of experience in specialty area required Skills Current and Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Ability to communicate and interact with the health-system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members.
