The occupational therapist will provide high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They may also supervise COTAs, rehab aides, or provisional therapists to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed in the state of practice. Certification or registration by the NCBOT is required, with one year of clinical experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESMay supervise COTAs, Rehab Aides, or provisional licensed occupational therapists per state practice guidelines.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSParticipates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident’s protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law. Agrees to adhere to and oversee communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.
