The MRI Technologist operates high field strength magnets and support systems to provide imaging services for adult and pediatric patients. This role involves coordinating MRI service delivery under physician direction while prioritizing safety.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved radiology technology program and hold ARRT MRI, BLS, and Venipuncture certifications. The position requires flexibility to rotate shifts, work weekends and holidays, and travel between UCSF sites.
The MR Radiologic Technologist provides technical knowledge and/or coordinates the delivery of MRI services. Under the direction of a qualified physician, this position will operate a variety of equipment including high field strength magnets and support systems with MRI safety as a priority.
