The MR Imaging Tech is responsible for performing imaging procedures according to established guidelines while ensuring patient safety. They also participate in quality improvement programs and provide mentorship to staff members.
The position is responsible for following policies and procedures according to established Imaging Services guidelines. Delivers quality customer service, and effectively utilizes resources. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety, and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety. This position reports to the MR Supervisor.
· Required: 0-3 years MR experience
· Preferred: 3 years or greater MR experience
Cardiac MR experience.
· Required: Craft or technical school of up to 2 years duration
· Must possess a thorough, working knowledge of MR exams and equipment.
· Good organizational skills and time management, works well under pressure
· Knowledge of total body cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
· Excellent written/oral communication skills required.
Hours: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, (7:30a-4:00p M-F) ], no nights, no call, no holidays
The minimum starting rate for this position is $35.31
