The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate will support clients in their recovery plans by serving as a personal guide and mentor. They will meet with identified clients both onsite and in the community to facilitate treatment engagement.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or CRPA-P certificate. Previous experience in chemical dependency or mental health is considered a plus.
Description Certified Recovery Peer Advocate, Outpatient Conifer Park's is looking for a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) to join our Inpatient team in Glenville, NY. The CRPA will meet with clients who have been identified to provide support to their individual recovery plan. The candidate will utilize skills and professional training to support individuals' engagement in treatment and commitment to recovery. The candidate will meet identified clients onsite or in the community and serve as a personal guide and mentor for those clients through their early recovery.
High School Diploma or GED, Certificate as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or Certified Recovery Peer Advocate Provision (CRPA-P) Required.
