MRI Technologist PRN

Position Summary

• The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged.
• Responsible to screen for magnetic hazards and to clear any patient, staff or family member to enter the MRI suite.
• Administering of contrast media if indicated.
• Proper utilization of Information System and McKesson PACS systems to scan in appropriate patient information.
• Participates in the daily routine of MRI Scan procedures and including “On-Call”.
