The Clinical Assistant supports patient care by preparing patients for examinations, performing phlebotomy, and documenting medical information. They also assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing office supplies, and supporting front office operations.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Previous medical office or patient care experience is preferred but not required.
The Clinical Assistant supports the delivery of patient care in the physician practice setting. The Clinical Assistant rooms patients and provides clinical services within the scope of a non-licensed position. This includes collecting and documenting patient information, performing phlebotomy and patient education, assisting in office-based testing and procedures, and supporting the administrative operations of the office.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
