The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical support, including phlebotomy, patient preparation, and the administration of injections and immunizations. They are also responsible for clinical documentation, scheduling appointments, and maintaining examination rooms.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, completion of a qualified Medical Assistant course, and be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with BLS certification. Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required.
The Certified Medical Assistant assists in preparation for patient care, provides care coordination, clinical documentation, and other clinical support functions in a physician practice office setting. PHLEBOTOMY will be a primary duty of this position.
High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of qualified Medical Assistant course.
License/Certification Requirements • Minimum: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant and Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
