The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical support, including patient preparation, administering injections, and performing medical tests. They also handle care coordination, scheduling, and the maintenance of examination rooms.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of a qualified Certified or Registered Medical Assistant course. Required certifications include CMA/RMA and Basic Life Support (AHA).
The Certified Medical Assistant assists in preparation for patient care, provides care coordination, clinical documentation, and other clinical support functions in a physician practice office setting.
