  • Positions: JOB SUMMARY Provides patient care services, cleans, maintains and stocks supplies and equipment and applies the principles of standard precautions and infection control in a variety of settings. The Technical Assistant demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate for the population assigned. The Technical Assistant will receive assignments as delegated by the RN. The Technical Assistant will be able to access data reflective of the patient’s status and report the information needed to identify each patient’s needs relative to this information. The Technical Assistant will provide care based on established policies and procedures. The Technical Assistant performs clerical, phlebotomy, safety attendant and other duties as assigned within their scope.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience: 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

  • Assistant I: The base compensation range for this role is $16.75 - $23.39 hourly.

  • Assistant II: The base compensation range for this role is $17.75 - $25.26 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
