Assists nursing personnel with various patient care duties under the supervision of a professional nurse. Reports results of all treatments and procedures to the nursing staff.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for completion of a nursing assistant course or healthcare vocational program. Maintenance of CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
Assists Nursing Service personnel in the performance of a variety of duties directly and indirectly related to patient care delivery always under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse. Functions according to the policies and procedures Gunnison Valley Hospital and the Department of Nursing. Reports the results of all treatments and procedures to the nurse.
High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course preferred. Completion of a healthcare vocational program preferred.
Experience in a hospital or similar facility preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Maintenance of CPR/BLS
$18.00 - $19.55/hr, depending on experience.
