The Nursing Assistant provides routine daily nursing care to residents according to established procedures and clinical supervisor directions. They are responsible for monitoring resident conditions, performing delegated tasks, and documenting care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a state-approved nursing assistant certification or be enrolled in an approved course. The role requires the ability to safely perform essential physical functions and utilize electronic devices for documentation and timekeeping.

The primary role of the Nursing Assistant is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established facility nursing care procedures as directed by clinical supervisors. The Nursing Assistant reports any observed changes in resident condition as they occur. Performs routine resident care duties and tasks delegated by the registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or licensed therapist to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents. Provides services in a manner compliant with all state and federal regulations as well as with any applicable facility policies and procedures.
• Previous experience working in a long-term care environment.
