Summary: The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations using established radiologic techniques to support accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: Perform routine and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and radiation-safety guidelines. Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining procedures, verifying patient information, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam. Operate radiographic equipment and related systems, monitor image quality, and enter required documentation into the electronic health record and radiology information systems. Assist with patient transport, exam room preparation, and workflow coordination to support efficient patient throughput within the Radiology Department. Practice ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for patients, self, and others, and promptly report equipment issues or safety concerns. Participate in departmental quality initiatives, support compliance activities, and follow all Trinity Health policies, procedures, and service standards.
