The Mammography Technologist is responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographic images while adhering to MQSA and ACR standards. They perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast procedures, and bone densitometry studies while collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences and hold ARRT/Mammography and Bone Densitometry registration. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with BCLS certification.
Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences. Must have advanced registry in mammography and Bone Densitometry within 1 year from date of hire.
