How you’ll contribute
Provides computed tomography (CT) imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Reviews patient history and physician’s orders.
Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately.
Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks.
Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if needed.
Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for Applicants should have a two-year certification. Additional requirements include:
Education: Two-year certificate, Associate’s degree, or Baccalaureate degree.
License: /Certifications: Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and Computed Tomography; BLS required.
