The therapist provides case management and treatment services, including assessment, diagnosis, and therapy, to a caseload of youth and their families in home, community, or telehealth settings. They also coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatric staff, school personnel, and other service providers.
Candidates must hold a master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field and possess a valid state certification or licensure (e.g., LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC). At least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families is required.
