The Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room by passing instruments and managing sterile equipment during urological procedures. They are responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all surgical sets are handled correctly.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and at least three years of experience. Current certification by NBSTSA and registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine are required.
Contract Surgical Technologist Certified Varies by assignment MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduated from an CAHEEP or ABHES accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program.
Three years of experience required.
BLS required. Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting). Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.

Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
