The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. They are responsible for maintaining professional standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among the assigned nursing staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia. Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required, with additional specialty certifications required within 180 days of hire.
The Registered Nurse in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies. The Registered Nurse coordinates total plan of care with other health care professionals involved in care and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within a Point of Care setting.
