Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients across the lifecycle and manages operational issues during the shift. Provides clinical care as needed and serves as a resource for staff guidance and communication.
Requires graduation from a nursing program and at least one year of hospital nursing experience. Must hold a current Georgia Registered Nurse license and BLS certification.
Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
