The Certified Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing various patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse. They must perform these duties in accordance with established clinical guidelines and standards.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have completed an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification and a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) credential are required.
Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
Education H.S.
