Assists physicians in performing invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care to patients in the Cath Lab.
Requires a current Georgia RN license, RCIS, or RCES certification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of Cath Lab tech experience along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
4 10-hour shifts (7AM-5:30PM) each week. Some after hour and weekend call required. Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed hospital in Conyers serving Rockdale County and the surrounding area. JOB PURPOSE: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thoroughknowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care topatients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascularclinical care during established procedures.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Current Georgia RN license, RCIS or RCES ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS and ACLS Business
