The physical therapist will evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to pediatric patients to restore function and prevent disability. They are also responsible for overseeing support staff and participating in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy and possess a valid Florida Department of Health license. At least one year of acute care pediatric physical therapy experience is strongly preferred, along with BLS certification.
Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatment to pediatric patients. Provide patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability. Oversee support staff. Participate in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities. Maintain schedule within budget operations. Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
