The staff nurse provides high-quality nursing care to acute care patients across the lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. They are responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities within the Nurse Residency Unit.
Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or an NLC/eNLC multistate license. BLS certification is required, and the role is specifically designed for new graduate nurses.
