The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care for ambulatory surgery patients, including assessing needs and administering medications. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate treatment plans across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license and an associate degree in nursing, with BLS certification required upon hire. ACLS certification is required within 12 months, and CAPA certification is preferred.
This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures in order to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients.
