Responsibilities

• Part-Time Dietitian Opportunity - Arbour Hospital - Quincy The Dietitian, in collaboration with Dietary services, acts as a resource to dietary staff to ensure delivery of a nutrition care program in accordance with standards established by Arbour.
• At Arbour Hospital - Jamaica Plain, we work diligently and compassionately to provide patients and their families with high-quality care and service excellence across a continuum of specialized behavioral health services.

• Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare.

• Job Summary Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk.
• Assesses diet order based on patient's age, current Effectively utilizes the medical record to obtain pertinent objective data.
• Accurately assess physical limitations which may compromise nutritional status.
• Accurately calculates metabolic needs, i.e., energy protein, fluid, and/or other specific nutrients.
• Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data.
• Completely follows through on recommendations made i.e., communication to physician, nutrition staff, nursing.
• Assesses patients based on religious, cultural, and ethnic preferences.
• Accurately documents the initial and ongoing assessment of patient's nutritional status and progress as determined by chart review.

Requirements

Masters degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field required. Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in MA required One to three years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian required.
