About the role

The clinician will provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis for consumers while delivering individual and group therapy. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate service documentation and participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning.

Position: Solutions Clinician

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Substance Use Disorder program/ Knott County

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time

Credentials: Csw, lcsw, lpca, lpcc, lpp

Special skills: Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work

Primary Functions

Provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis impression interviews of consumers.

Provide individual and group counseling/therapy to consumers and families.

Provide psychosocial evaluations.

Provide treatment planning and termination summaries as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Provide consultation/education/emergency services.

Provide outpatient appointment and follow up with appropriate service agencies as required.

Work with Consumer Access Specialist to ensure daily schedule is full to meet consumer needs and required professional time standards.

Participate with process improvement activities as directed by program needs.

Prepare and maintain necessary reports and service documentation.

Other duties as assigned by division director, program director (if applicable) and/or administrative supervisor.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work. Professional credentials such as CSW, LCSW, LPCA, LPCC, or LPP are required for this position.
