The Residential Aide assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients. They also ensure a safe environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must obtain Residential Care Specialist or Personal Support Specialist certification and state registry placement within 120 days. Current BLS certification and knowledge of medical terminology are also required.
The Residential Aide assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
