The Residential Aide assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients. They also help maintain a safe environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must obtain Residential Care Specialist or Personal Support Specialist certification and state registry placement within 120 days. A minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, along with current BLS certification.
