BID- Milton is seeking a full-time Specimen Processor, the position is working 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation schedules.
Under the supervision and direction of the Manager, Supervisor, Laboratory site or designee, accurately and efficiently processes blood, cultures and body fluid specimens from patients for use in laboratory testing, following Laboratory policies and procedures. Performs pre-analytic processing procedures, and complete all associated documentation both written and computerized. Full time, 40 hours, rotate weekends and holidays.
Minimum education: High School diploma or GED required
0-1 years of applicable experience in a laboratory setting. Degree or credits in any college science course preferred.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft works, excel, Microsoft power point and computer skills. Must be organized and work to meet deadlines. Exercise independent judgement within boundaries of knowledge and skills. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service (positive and professional) skills. Excellent analytical skills required, well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure within a collaborative team oriented environment.
