• Registered Nurse ICU The ICU Registered Nurse performs initial assessment and documents appropriately for the level of care appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age development level, and cultural and religious orientation.
• Initiates discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate.
• Is able to calculate and titrate vasoactive drugs used in the ICU in response to changing patient condition.
• Is also able to care for patients receiving mechanical ventilation, i.e. assessment of effective ventilation, suctioning techniques, etc.
• Has the ability to interpret cardiac arrhythmias and intervene appropriately, including alerting physician to significant changes.

Qualifications
