The Cardiac Ultrasonographer is responsible for the accurate and timely evaluation and treatment of cardiology patients, including inpatients and outpatients. The role involves providing services across multiple UHS facilities to support clinical operations and patient care.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold certification from ARDMS or CCI. Completion of an accredited school for Cardiac Ultrasonography is preferred, along with the ability to obtain CPR certification within three months of hire.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
