The Patient Sitter is responsible for monitoring patients to ensure their safety and well-being. They must communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and safety concerns while maintaining patient dignity and privacy.
The role requires the ability to monitor patients and adhere to safety protocols. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly with medical staff and respect patient rights across all age groups.
The Sitter assists with monitoring the patient and assuring patient safety needs are met. Communicates effectively any patient safety concerns to the patient care nurse or charge nurse. Responsible for ensuring safety of patient that they are assigned to sit with and communicating needs with the assigned nurse while continually assuring the patient’s dignity, privacy and rights with respect to the age of the patient.
Pay $21.00 per hour
