The Patient Care Aide is responsible for taking vital signs and assisting patients with daily living activities and comfort measures. They work under the leadership of nursing staff to meet customer expectations and fulfill patient needs.
A Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the State of California is preferred. Candidates must maintain a current BLS CPR certification.
Under the leadership of the Director of Med /Surg, Charge Nurse, or Staff Nurse, the patient care assistant will take vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures for an assigned group of patients. Recognizes the importance of meeting customer expectations, and demonstrates a positive attitude and efficient use of resources, and performs related duties as necessary to fulfill the customer's needs. Performs duties according to the mission, philosophy, policy and procedures of Barstow Community Hospital and patient focused care
Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of California preferred. Must maintain BLS CPR.
$21.00 - $26.5 PER HOUR
RN - Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Per Diem floating
RN - Emergency - PRN
